New training solutions help employers prepare for October’s new age regulations and helps them realise the benefits of an age diverse workforce

Skill Boosters in association with The Employers Forum on AGE are launching a new training video and e-learning resource entitled ‘Age; Realising the benefits of an age diverse workforce’.

More and more organisations are reaping the business rewards of a mixed-age workforce. By helping people reflect on their own behaviour and the impact it has on others, these multimedia learning resources encourage fair treatment for people of all ages and help to retain valuable workplace skills and experience.

Paul White, Managing Director of BDP Learning (producers of Skill Boosters resources) commented “This new diversity resource doesn’t just consider organisations’ and individuals’ responsibilities under the new Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 – it looks beyond compliance, highlighting ageist stereotypes and promoting a clear message; ‘it’s about ability, not age’”.
