Skill Boosters appoints Skye Mackie to set up new live training division.
Skill Boosters, part of the BDP Media Group has appointed Skye Mackie as General Manager, Skill Boosters LIVE. As a direct response to client demand Skye has been recruited to set up and manage Skill Boosters’ new face-to-face training division which will launch its first courses this summer on topics relating to diversity in the workplace.
Skill Boosters LIVE will provide generic, customised and bespoke diversity, personal development and executive communications training solutions. Our public, in-house and individual programmes are being designed as stand-alone training solutions which will also be able to dovetail with Skill Boosters award winning elearning and video resources. The training can be tailored to suit specific business needs and can be adapted for different audiences; trainers, HR representatives, foundation level employees, managers and senior executives.
Bryan De’Ath, Founder and Managing Director of the BDP Media Group, commented, “With Skye’s arrival and the addition of face-to-face training to the already strong Skill Boosters offering, clients will be able to pick and choose from the Skill Boosters catalogue to create blended learning solutions which meet their exact training needs and budgets.”
Skye’s HR management, training and development, and commercial experience spans 12 years. In her last position as Head of Commercial Business at HCTC (Hotel and Catering Training Company), her roles included setting up and managing a new commercial division, development of an online resource and a portfolio of in-house training programmes, and the design of bespoke training programmes for commercial clients.
Skye’s other senior roles have included Head of Learning and Development and Recruitment and Training Project Manager for HCTC, HR/Training Consultant for Adroit Human Resources and HR Manager for Mercure Hotel, Sydney (part of the Accor Asia Pacific Group).
