Skill Boosters launch four new e-learning resources in its Dignity at Work series to help realise the benefits of a diverse workforce

Skill Boosters in association with leading diversity experts have launched the following new e-learning resources:

Age; Realising the benefits of an age diverse workforce
The Diversity Challenge; Maximising the potential of our diverse workforce
Religion and Belief; Respecting and accommodating faith and belief in the workplace
Sexual Orientation; Respecting lesbian, gay and bisexual people in the workplace

Available to preview free on CD-ROM, these video-rich, interactive courses are aimed at all levels of employees and will help organisations to:
• reduce the risk of legal claims
• realise the benefits of a diverse workforce
• improve staff performance and productivity
• increase morale
• improve staff retention levels
• create an inclusive workplace culture
• be socially responsible
• attract a wide range of talent
• maintain a competitive edge

Already available as training videos and trainer-led workshops, these courses are now provided in e-learning format. This offers customers a complete blended solution, enabling them to ‘pick and mix’ their required delivery mediums in accordance with budget, infrastructure and employees’ preferred learning styles.

Paul White, Director of Production at Skill Boosters commented “These new diversity resources don’t just consider organisations’ and individuals’ responsibilities under equality legislation – they look beyond compliance and offer practical ways to help manage and implement good practice and effect appropriate behavioural and cultural change in the workplace. By helping people reflect on their own behaviour and the impact it has on others, these learning resources encourage fair treatment for all people and help to retain valuable workplace skills and experience.”
